Lactic Acid will exfoliate the outer surface of the skin and encourage new cell turnover. It is a natural humectant, pulling moisture from the collagen levels to the surface of skin. It is an excellent acid choice for skin suffering from hyperpigmentation, dark spots, uneven complexion, fine lines, and other common concerns. Lactic acid is relatively non-irritating if used properly and with very little down time.

Usage

Lactic acid is a mild acid and can be applied 1-2X per week to keep skin moist and exfoliated. To determine sensitivity, perform a patch test and check in 24 hours for excessive irritation. A common usage is with the mix of a lotion (lactic acid lotion) for a full body exfoliation/peel. Always start with a lower strength and increase as your skin adjusts.

Directions

1. Read all precautions.

2. Thoroughly cleanse all areas that are to be treated.

3. Apply to small areas with a Q-tip/cotton ball.

4. For full body exfoliation - dilute desired strength (recommended 10-15%) into lactic acid lotion and use daily and stop with signs of peeling.
